Almost a Haven!

It has been a lot of work but my Stamp Room is starting to look like a haven. I got most of the shelves up thanks to the help of my amazing husband and started loading them. For my birthday, Marty and Steven gave me DirectTV and moved a big tv into my room, so now I can listen to my favorite shows while I work. Now to just finish cleaning, get my paper sorter built, and put up my magnetic boards and I will be set. Come check out my room on Dec. 30 from 10-3 for my free openhouse.

I needed a break today from working and decided to make a couple cards to share with you. This card uses the stamp set Friends 24/7 which I love but do not own. It comes with My Digital Studio so I just slide some whisper white cardstock into my printer and voila, my images! I used the scallop trim border punch as well as the scallop oval and oval punches. Vintage Wallpaper is the embossing folder used on the background of the card. So simple, but I think it looks very elegant.
For this card I used Charming and Great Friend stamp sets. The colors are Pacific Point, Bashful Blue, and Whisper White. This card took about ten minutes to make. I used the 1-1/4 and 1-3/8 Circle Punches, the small and medium size oval punches, and the scallop corner and edge punches.

Starring You

Here is a quick card I made today while Steven was taking a nap. I bought this stamp set a few years ago actually and I think this is the first time I ever used it. I used Real Red, Wild Wasabi, Pacific Point, and Whisper White cardstock, 1-3/8 Circle Punch, 1-3/4 Scallop Circle Punch, and 1/4 Circle Punch. The ribbon, Real Red Grograin Polka Dot, is on the clearance rack right now for 1.99 a roll. They have a lot of great deals in the clearance rack currently. To order go to my Stampin' Up! webpage, www.roseanneurbanc.stampinup.net.

Just a Few Christmas Cards

This card was created by my mother. Isn't she talented? She used Night of Navy and Bashful Blue cardstock, Northern Flurries Embossing Folder, scallop oval and medium oval punches, and the rhinestones. There are also Stampin' Dimensionals to make the oval punch pop off the scallop punch. "Merry Christmas" is from Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set.

This card was taken off a card my MIL made several years ago. I borrow this stamp set from her every year to make this card and I always sell out at the craft shows. The colors are Handsome Hunter (retired), Night of Navy, Crumb Cake, and Whisper White. I stamped the image in Chocolate Chip and then colored it using Certainly Celery, Brocade Blue (retired), and Close to Cocoa markers.

The last card uses one of my new favorite Christmas stamp sets, Contempo Christmas. I used the clear version of this stamp set, so I was able to line the "Merry Christmas" exactly where I wanted to on the page with a great deal of ease. I also used Lovely as a Tree stamp set for the branches. I used Garden Green, Real Red, and Whisper White for the cardstock. There are Stampin' Dimensionals to pop the ornament off the page.

Christmas Card Party

Here are the Christmas cards we made last weekend at the Christmas Card Party. It was a lot of fun and so nice to see everyone!

Card Swap

Recently several of my customers got together and had a card swap. Everyone made 10 cards and then we exchanged them. This is a great way to get many new ideas. Here are some of the amazing cards!
