Just Believe

I fell in love with this stamp set the minute I saw the new Idea Book and Catalog but it wasn't until just last week that my mother and I added it to our collection. In clear actually which I am liking more and more as I use them. This card is in Rose Red and Old Olive. I used the Scallop Square die cut and cut out one side of it so that it lined up perfectly with edge of the Rose Red. I colored the flowers with the markers and added some Old Olive ribbon and dimensions to the final touches.

Trying out some Embossing Folders

Marty being the wonderful husband that he is took the Little Man shopping today and so I had some time in my stamp room, after I started some laundry and did the dishes that is.

We decided to take advantage of the four acres that we have out here and are hosting our family reunion out here in Sept. Here are the invites I made using the King of the Grill stamp set. I debated a lot about purchasing this stamp set but am so glad I did. I used More Mustard and Cajun Craze cardstock, the modern label punch, and the Square Lattice embossing folder. "Your invited" is from Hugs and Wishes stamp set.

I am really starting to be a big fan of texture on my cards. I recently purchased the Vintage Wallpaper embossing folder and decided to give it a try on Pink Pirouette cardstock. The images are from Friends 24-7 which I printed off in Chocolate Chip from My Digital Studio and used the oval and scallop oval punch. I love this Chocolate Chip ribbon and am very sad that they retired it.

Artistic Etchings

Artistic Etchings stamp set really is starting to grow on me. I buddied it up with Charming and Teeny Tiny Messages to make this card. Early Expresso and Very Vanilla cardstock teamed up with Cherry Cobbler, Crumb Cake and Early Expresso ink. I also used the Square Lattice Embossing Folder and sponged on crumb cake after embossing. Have a great night!

Playing Around

The time I find in my stamp room is definitely few and far between. I have had a craft show almost every other weekend and with little Steven around I stay very busy. Here are two cards I recently made.

This first card was recently made at a Stampin' Up party in Peoria. It is using a stamp set from the Summer Mini Catalog which is only available until August 31. We used Marina Mist, Certainly Celery, and Crumb Cake. We also used the Piercing Tool and Bone Folder to give the Crumb Cake a suede look to it.

The second card is using the square lattice embossing folder which I absolutely love. Great Friend is the stamp set used, along with some Black Satin Ribbon. Pretty in Pink and Basic Black are the colors for this bold card.

Cards with My Digital Studio Images

Sorry for the lack of posts lately. This SAHM business is keeping me pretty busy. Now that the Little Man can play by myself for more than a minute at a time I will do better at the postings. These are two cards that I made using images from My Digital Studio. These two stamp sets I have always thought about purchasing but were never in the budget. Then I realized that they are on the software and now I can just print them off of the computer. The best part is I can make them whatever SU color I want.

For the first card I used the retired Basic Gray cardstock, the black satin ribbon, and two pearls from the pretties kit. I also used the embossing template to give the background the textured dots. The stamp set is called Friends 24-7. The next card is using some retired Cottage Wall and retired Pale Plum. I made the stamped image from For All You Do in Pale Plum, Rich Razzleberry, and Certainly Celery on the computer before I printed it out and added the extra touches to it.
A customer recently asked me for the list of stamp sets that are included in My Digital Studio. Here is the list. I am sure you will be amazed at the number of items included, DSP, embellishments, punches, etc. All for a low price of $79.95.
