Scrapbooking!

I have been setting some time aside for myself the past couple of weeks to catch up on my scrapbooking. I decided I am going to attempt to make a scrapbook of each year of Steven's life growing up with special memories. I have quickly gotten drawn into My Digital Studio and love it. Everyday that I play with it I learn something new. Here are a couple pages I just finished.

Plenty to Keep Me Busy

So along with all the classes, quarter auctions, parties, family stuff, and everything else I have going on... I recently signed up for two shows. In all my free time I have been working on cards, notebooks, bookmarks, etc to take with me. Here are a couple cards I made the other night.

My Swap Cards

I participate in swaps all the time in order to get more ideas and learn new things. It is a great way for me to help my business get some examples with stamp sets that aren't my favorite, yet you might like. I recently participated in a swap where I was assigned stamp sets and had to make so many cards with each set. For this swap I was assigned; falling leaves, season of joy, daring adventure, have a seat, plant hope, need for speed, and love and sympathy. Each card had to have some embellishment on it, and as long as SU! sold an envelope that size, could be any size. Here are my cards for plant hope, need for speed, and daring adventure.

Technique Class Sneak Peek

Tonight is the first in my series of Technique Classes. I will be teaching three techniques; frosted embossing, polished stone, and butterfly pansies. Here are the sneak peeks of the 3 cards we will be making.

Christmas Card Stamp-a-Stack

I recently held a Christmas Card Stamp-a-Stack. It was so much fun and so nice to see everyone who was able to make it! Here are a couple of the cards that people were able to chose from.

Stamp-a-Stacks

Most of my summer classes have involved Stamp-a-Stacks, making 10 cards for $12, 2 cards each of 5 designs. This has kept me pretty busy cutting, as well as designing. I have pulled some of my ideas from a great resource, http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/. If you have never checked it out, go for it! It is an awesome tool when you are hitting a card road block. Here are some of the cards we made at my last 2 events.

Sorry for my Absence!

I am so sorry for my absence in posting. I have had one crazy summer. It started out with my grandmother passing away, an out of town funeral, then my 15 year old cousin came to live with us, Marty traveled to North Carolina and England, and I have had several Stampin' Up! events, helped with an estate sale, and mostly just been playing taxi driver! To reward you for your patience, I have several cards to post. Some of them you might have seen if you have attended any of my summer events, others will be new for everyone.
