Loving the Baja Breeze today!

I have been busy cutting and getting ready for the two workshops I have this weekend, but have a friend coming on Friday to pick out cards for a workshop she is hosting in May, so I took a break from cutting to design a couple for her to look at. Here are two I made today. I didn't realize until I was almost finished that I had used Baja Breeze for both cards.

Cards from the Weekend

My hubby was on the team for Cursillo this weekend, so on Thursday I packed up Steven, Charley, and myself and headed to my mom's for the weekend. We had a blast and stayed so busy, but on Sunday I did find some time to stamp. I have four workshops within the next couple of weeks and these cards will be some of the ones that they make.
Here is a card I made yesterday during the openhouse. The car image is not Stampin' Up! but I thought I would share anyways. I cased it from a previous card of mine where I used the Plane and Simple stamp set.

Masculine Card

My husband came home from work yesterday announcing it was our next door neighbor's birthday. My neighbor is a wonderful man who has helped Marty and I so much the past two years we have lived here. Workshop in a Box

One of my customers decided she wanted to host a workshop, however couldn't figure out a day that would work for her and her friends, so I suggested she do a workshop in a box. I put all the ingredients for a card into a plastic shoebox and she passes the box around to her friends so they can make a card at their convienence and place an order for her. This is a great idea for people who want to host a workshop but don't have the time, space, or live too far away. Here is the card I made for her.
I liked the look of this card and wanted to use my new Marina Mist Ribbon with it. So, I pulled out the color coach and it said to pair Marina Mist with Crumb Cake and Cajun Craze. I would have never thought about this color combo, but it does have a neat look to it.
I am currently participating in a Mother's Day swap. Here is the card I made for the swap.
Awhile ago, I made a card similar to this using the Bring on the Cake stamp set and Celebration DSP. I changed it up a little bit, and decorated the inside.
